Nelson Almanzar is a certified business coach, consultant, and speaker. He is an expert facilitator of the changes you want that maximize your personal and professional potential to face the future with a powerful and optimistic mindset.
Nelson has a BFA in Communication Design from Parsons School of Design in New York City. He is certified by the Institute of Professional Excellence in Coaching.
He's been a design director at various companies including Steiner Sports Marketing and A&E Television Networks. From 2001 through 2007, he served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps.
In 2011, he co-founded Talos Digital, a custom software design agency comprising over 80 employees across cities in North & South America.
Nelson is an expert in running Design Sprint workshops. In this process he works with business teams validate their ideas in a multi-day intensive prototyping workshop.
He co-hosts the Empathy Podcast, where experts of different fields discuss how compassion and empathy have a positive impact on their work.
Before I began working with Nelson, I was feeling a little lost in my career. I had received a promotion a few months before but the challenges were really showing up. The team wasn’t on the same page and I felt like I didn’t have a voice with management. In the six months of working with Nelson, I was able to speak up, find synergy on the team and had an increased confidence. We delivered the product in a timely manner which felt unrealistic prior to my coaching with Nelson.
